Step B

*Raise needle out of fabric.

*Turn buttonhole dial to the buttonhole symbol

(B) for the second step.

*Make at least four stitches, ending at point (4).

Step C

*Raise needle out of fabric.

*Turn buttonhole to the buttonhole symbol (C) for the third step.

*Stitch up to point (5).

Step D

*Raise needle out of fabric.

*Turn buttonhole dial to the buttonhole symbol (D) for the fourth step.

*Make at least four stitches, ending at point (6).

*Raise presser foot and remove garment from machine. Clip thread ends.

*Carefully cut buttonhole opening with a seam ripper or small, sharp scissors.
