1e. Fasten tanks together by securing the latch in the back.

Note: Remember to secure the tank latch in the back and test to make sure it is secure before picking up the tank.

2.Remove formula tank from back of machine.

2a. Fill the formula tank by first unscrewing the cap and insert. Always use genuine BISSELL formulas to maximize cleaning and for the safety of your machine. Fill formula up to the line and replace the cap and insert. Place formula tank into the slot in the back of the machine for a snug fit.

2b. If using the BISSELL 3X Concentrated Fiber Cleansing Formula: Add 3 capfuls of 3X Concentrated Fiber Cleansing formula to the formula tank, and then fill with hot water to the line.

3.Set Custom Clean Dial. Simply choose one of the 4 settings (heavy traffic, normal clean, light clean, or water rinse) and the ProHeat 2X will adjust the right amount of cleaning solution to mix with the heated water to fit your cleaning need.

4.Set ReadyTools Dial to the floor cleaning setting.

5.Plug into a proper outlet and turn the power and heater switches to the ON ( I ) position. Allow 1 minute for the built-in heater to warm-up before cleaning. The ProHeat 2X will be fully warmed and will provide optimal performance after a minute of continuous heated cleaning.

6.Cleaning Strokes. While pressing the trigger, make one slow forward wet pass and another one back. Let the built-in heater, formula, and DirtLifter PowerBrushes do the work for you.

Caution: Do not overwet. Take care not to run over loose objects or edges of area rugs. Stalling brush may result in premature belt failure.

Note: Your machine is equipped with a circuit breaker that will automatically shut off the brush if a large or loose object is caught in the brush roll. If that happens, be sure to unplug your machine, remove the foreign object, and then plug the machine back in to reset the circuit breaker.

8960, 9300, 8920 specifications

The Bissell 8960 and 8930 are two powerful vacuum cleaners designed to tackle pet hair, dust, and allergens with exceptional efficiency. These upright vacuums stand out in the crowded market due to their advanced features and innovative technologies that cater to the needs of pet owners and households looking for a thorough clean.

One of the key features of both models is the Pet Hair Eraser technology. This specialized system includes a tangle-free brush roll that prevents hair from wrapping around the brush, effectively making post-cleaning maintenance easier. Additionally, the vacuum comes equipped with a pet turbo eraser tool that helps in capturing even the most stubborn pet hair from furniture, stairs, and other surfaces.

Another notable characteristic of the Bissell 8960 and 8930 is their Multi-Cyclonic System. This technology uses multiple cyclones to separate dirt and debris from the air, ensuring powerful suction that lasts longer without losing efficiency. As a result, users can enjoy consistent cleaning performance regardless of the mess or surface type.

The lightweight and ergonomic design of these vacuums allows for easy maneuverability around the home. The swivel steering enables effortless navigation around furniture and corners, making it easy to reach tight spaces. Whether you need to clean carpets, hardwood floors, or upholstery, these vacuums offer versatility in their cleaning capabilities.

Both models also feature a HEPA filtration system that captures 99.97% of allergens and fine dust particles, providing a cleaner and healthier environment. This makes them an excellent choice for allergy sufferers, as the sealed allergen system prevents dust and allergens from being released back into the air during cleaning.

In terms of convenience, the Bissell 8960 and 8930 come with a large capacity dirt tank that allows users to clean for extended periods without frequent emptying. The easy-to-empty design ensures that disposing of collected debris is a hassle-free process.

Additionally, the corded design provides unlimited runtime, so there's no need to worry about battery life during long cleaning sessions. The combination of powerful suction, advanced filtration, and specialized pet cleaning tools truly makes these models a top choice for pet owners and anyone seeking a reliable vacuum for their cleaning needs.
