How to Use the HAAN® Carpet Pad with the Carpet Tray to Freshen & Sanitize Carpets & Rugs:

1)Make sure that you always use completely dry thin, white Carpet Pads (Fig 16).

NOTE: The white Carpet Tray Pad is thinner than the standard blue Ultra-Microfiber Pad.

2) Place the white Carpet Tray Pad down on the

floor with the ‘hook & loop’ facing up. After the

Pet Plus™ has heated and is ready to use, lightly

press the base of the Pet Plus™ onto the pad. As the

white Carpet Tray Pad is shaped to match the

bottom of the Pet Plus™, carefully place the base

onto the pad so it is centered to the shape. The

specially-designed bottom of the Pet Plus™ will

grip the pad. (There will be no excess pad showing

	like there is with the larger microfiber pads.)
3)	Once the Carpet Tray Pad is attached to the
	underside of the Pet Plus™, place the front lip of
	the Pet Plus™ under the front clips of the Carpet
	Tray (Fig 17).
4)	As the front clips hold onto the base, lower the
	back of the unit down until the tray snaps into
	place (Fig 18). The Carpet Tray Pad will fit snugly
	within the Carpet Tray.
5)	Push and pull the Pet Plus™ Steam Cleaning Floor
	Sanitizer slowly across your carpet or rug to
	thoroughly freshen and sanitize the fibers with
	steam (Fig 19).

NOTE: It is necessary to use the Carpet Tray in tandem with the white Carpet Tray Pad in order for the unit to glide smoothly over the carpet.
