Attach hose rack

q, Remove tool and taped screw from rack.

Insert projections on rack into slots on back of cleaner.

qSlide rack down into place. Insert screw at (D) and tighten with a

Phillips screwdriver.

Storing hose & tools

qStore hose on rack by first position- ing hose in front section of clip.

qThen continue wrapping hose as shown snapping end of hose con-

nectar into clip.

q, Position tool in holder at base of cleaner and snap it into place as

shown at arrow.

qSlide bare floor attachment into holder as shown.

For Plus* or

Ultra** models

qThe powered hand tool** is shipped

. in a plastic bag for protection.

Remove the bag before using the tool by first opening tool door.

qTo remove tool** (A), pull it down and outward.

To reposition the tool, reverse this proce- dure.

To store stair/upholstery nozzle* (B), open tool door, place nozzle in bracket and fit it securely into position. To remove, reverse this procedure.

How to reattach tool cover

q: The tool cover is designed with a break-away feature which allows it

to snap free if it is pushed open too far.

To reattach, align hinges of cover with slots on sides of tool storage area.

Push cover down to secure in place.
