Functions

1.This tool can be used to vacuum dust and small debris from a shop floor, when a 4” flexible hose (not included) from the shop dust collection system is attached.

Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual.

Assembly

1.Upper Handle Section (13) must be attached to Lower Handle Section (8) prior to use.

2.Insert Upper Handle Section (13) into Lower Handle Section (8) and fasten together using Phillips Head Screw (15).

1.Before operating the Rolling Sweep, put on ANSI-approved safety goggles and other safety gear which are sold separately.

To Attach a Flexible Vacuum Hose

1.The Swivel Connecting Tube (5) is designed to accept a standard 4” flex- ible collection hose (not included).

2.Insert your flexible hose into the Con- necting Tube (5). If necessary, use a band clamp or adapter (not included) to secure the hose.

Operating the Sweep

1.The Handle Assembly (8, 13) is de- signed to swivel on the Connecting Tube (5).

2.To adjust the swivel angle, loosen the Knob (4), move the Handle to the desired position, and retighten the Knob.

3.The Supporting Tube (11) provides support by pushing on the top of the Dust Hood (1) as the tool is used.

4.After attaching the 4” flexible hose, turn on the shop dust collection sys- tem (not included). The Sweep will now operate.

5.Roll the sweep along the shop floor to pick up dust and small debris.

6.Pick up large debris by hand to pre- vent clogging the Dust Hood (1). If the Dust Hood becomes clogged, turn off the dust collection system and clear the Dust Hood.
