MUTE Button

To temporarily shut off the sound from the speakers press the MUTE button on the front panel or the remote control. The display will show “VOL 0” for a few seconds to indicate that the Mute function is ‘On’. Press the MUTE button again to cancel Mute and restore the sound. The display will briefly show “VOL ON” to indicate that Mute function is ‘Off’.

ON/OFF TIMER

This system includes a programmable On/Off timer function. You can use the timer to wake you up to the radio or to your favorite CD. The timer can be programmed while the system is in the Standby (Power Off) mode, the Tuner mode or the CD mode.

To Set The ‘ON’ Time

1.) Press the MODE button on the front panel or the remote control repeatedly until the “TIMER ON” indicator is flashing in the display.

2.) Press the MEMORY/CLOCK SET button on the front panel or remote control. The Hour digits begin flashing.

3.) Press the SKIP/SEARCH controls ( / ) on the top panel of the main unit or the remote control to set the display to the desired turn on hour, AM or PM.

4.) Press the MEMORY/CLOCK SET button on the front panel or remote control. The Minute digits begin flashing.

5.) Press the SKIP/SEARCH controls ( / ) on the top panel of the main unit or the remote control to set the display to the desired turn on minute. Press MEMORY/CLOCK SET button once again to confirm.
