Installing the Refrigerator Drawers

attention

This installation procedure is intended for use by persons having electrical and mechanical training and a level of knowledge of these subjects generally considered acceptable in the appliance repair trade. Electrolux Home Products cannot be responsible, nor assume any liability, for injury or damage of any kind arising from the use of this manual.

Your Electrolux refrigerator drawers have been designed for built-in installation. When built-in, your refrigerator drawers do not require additional air space for top, sides, or rear. The front grille must NOT be obstructed.

Your Electrolux refrigerator drawers may have either the Professional or Designer handles shown below. For ease of explanation, we will be showing only the Designer handles in most of the illustrations in this guide.

WARNING

Double drawer Refrigerator Drawers are designed to be built-in only. The appliance can not be free-standing.

NOTE

To ease appliance installation and removal, we recommend the cabinet rough opening dimensions be increased by at least ¼ inch over the dimensions given for your appliance.

If the unit is being installed into an existing opening that does not match the product dimensions, the anti tip bracket will not engage properly. Custom modifications will need to be made.

Mounting screws provided are intended for mounting bracket directly to wall studs. These screws will not work if used with sheetrock (dry wall) or anything other than wall studs. Longer screws will be required for those type of applications.
