Installing the Water Tray

The purpose of the water tray is to receive the condensation drained from the interior. The collected water will evaporate so there is no need to remove the water manually.

To install the water tray, simply slide it in from the rear of the cellar along the track, located beneath the cabinet body.

Wine Cellar Features and Use

Temperature Adjustments/Control

Important note: In order to operate efficiently, thermoelectric products should be in an environment with an ambient temperature of less than 70°F (21°C).

When initially turned on, the LED will show the default setting at 55˚F. Your wine cellar has an electronic temperature control on the front of the unit. You can set the temperature of your wine cellar at any setting from 39˚ to 68˚F. The LED will then display the set temperature.

NOTE: White wine temperature is kept at a lower temperature than red wine.

By pressing the (+) temperature button on the display you can increase the temperature; pressing the (-) temperature button will lower the temperature.

Please note that the actual cabinet temperature in a thermal electric unit is dependent on the

ambient temperature. You may set the cabinet temperature within range but the unit may not reach that temperature.

For this model, when the ambient temperature is 77˚F, the lowest temperature that can be reached is 50-52˚F. When ambient temperature is 66˚, the cabinet temperature can reach approximately 39-41˚F.

INTERIOR LIGHT CONTROL

Your wine cellar also has a light for your viewing pleasure. The interior display light option allows you to showcase your personal collection of wines. To activate this feature, press the light button. This button is located on the control panel (see below). The interior light will remain on permanently until light button is pressed again. Under normal operation it is best for the light to remain off.

CWC-1600 specifications

The Cuisinart CWC-1600 is a versatile and elegant wine cooler designed to enhance the enjoyment of wine aficionados and casual drinkers alike. With a sleek, modern design, the CWC-1600 not only serves as an aesthetically pleasing addition to your home but also promises to provide optimal storage conditions for your prized wine collection. This unit can accommodate up to 16 standard-sized wine bottles, making it ideal for both small and medium-sized collections.

One of the standout features of the CWC-1600 is its dual-zone temperature control system. This technology allows you to independently set two different temperature zones based on the types of wine being stored—red, white, or sparkling. The upper zone typically ranges from 36°F to 64°F, catering to whites and sparkling wines, while the lower zone can be set between 41°F and 68°F, perfect for your red wines. This ensures that each variety of wine is kept at the optimal temperature, enhancing flavors and aromas.

The CWC-1600 also boasts an advanced thermoelectric cooling system. Unlike traditional refrigeration methods, thermoelectric cooling operates quietly and efficiently, minimizing vibrations that could disturb sediment in wine bottles. This feature not only helps maintain a consistent internal temperature, but it also conserves energy, making the CWC-1600 environmentally friendly.

The interior display of the cooler is equipped with a soft LED lighting system, which illuminates your collection without generating heat. This ensures that the wine is not exposed to temperature fluctuations and maintains its integrity. The unit also features an easy-to-read digital temperature display, allowing wine lovers to monitor and adjust settings with ease.

In addition to its functional advantages, the Cuisinart CWC-1600 also features wooden shelving that is both stylish and practical. The shelves gently cradle wine bottles, preventing them from rolling or tipping, while the attractive wood finish adds to the overall sophistication of the unit.

For those who value a quiet and efficient wine storage solution, the Cuisinart CWC-1600 checks all the boxes. With its combination of temperature control technology, energy efficiency, and elegant design, this wine cooler provides an exceptional experience for anyone looking to store and showcase their wine collection. Whether you are entertaining guests or simply enjoying a glass at home, the Cuisinart CWC-1600 ensures that your wine is always preserved in the best conditions.
