Connecting to an Amplifier or Receiver

1.Connect one end of the RCA audio cable (white and red) to the Audio Out jacks (L and R) located on the rear of the HDR-650.

2.Connect the other end of the cable to the Audio

Line-In jacks of an amplifier or receiver (white, red).

3.Set the amplifier/receiver to the source input that corresponds with the Audio Line-In jacks. Refer to the documentation that comes with your amplifier/re- ceiver for more information.

For optimal volume control and audio fidelity, set the volume level of the HDR-650 to approximately 80%, and then adjust the volume to the desired level with the controls of your amplifier/receiver.

AM Antenna

The unit comes with an AM loop antenna designed specifically to receive AM signals.

1.Plug the AM loop antenna into the AM Antenna Input port located on the rear of the unit.

2.Position and orient the antenna well away from the unit for best reception.
