IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

Read all instructions before using.

1.Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

2.To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any non-removable parts of this Toaster Oven in water or other liquid.

3.Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children or invalids.

4.Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts or before cleaning appliance.

5.Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner; return the Toaster Oven to the retail location where it was purchased for examination, repair, or adjustment.

6.Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use accessory attachments not recommended by Philips Electronics North America Corporation as they may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

7.Always use the appliance on a dry, level surface. Do not use outdoors.

8.Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. Let the Toaster Oven cool completely before moving it on or off the counter, before cleaning or before putting away.

9.Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
