To turn on a cooking area and increase its power level, select the desired cooking area. Then turn the
corresponding control to the required position. The higher the number, the greater the power.
Controls for "Quick/Normal" plates turn in both directions to settings numbered 0 - 6.
Only turn controls for "Automatic" plates clockwise to settings numberes 0 - 12.
To turn off the cooking area, return the control to 0 and
the cooking area is turned off.
Pilot light
The pilot light will come on when cooking areas are switched on.
Even after a cooking area is turned off some types of pilot light stay on to show that the cooking area is still hot. The pilot light warns you there is still the risk of injury by burning.
