•Put the ingredients into a suitable container such as a mixing bowl, cooking pan or the mixing cup included. Do not overfill to avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
•Plug into a wall socket. The blue rings around the control buttons will light up.
•Important: put the shaft of the appliance vertically into the ingredients to mix before pressing one of the switches. This will avoid splashing when the motor is switched on.
•Select a speed by turning the wheel at the top of the appliance. Turning the wheel clockwise will increase the mixing speed, and counter clockwise will reduce the mixing speed.
Note: we recommend starting with a lower speed setting and then increase the blade rotation speed gradually if needed.
•Switch on motor by pressing on the “On/Off” switch and blend by pulsation. Remember to use for no longer than 1 minute continuous use. The motor must then be left to cool down for 10 minutes.
•Pressing on the “Turbo” button will enable you to engage, for a short period, the maximum blade rotation speed, regardless of the speed setting selected by the wheel on the top of the appliance.
Tips:
•Never fill the mixing cup to more than 2/3 full, to prevent over flowing.
•Always blend ingredients together with water or other liquid with the stick blender.
•Do not use the stick blender to blend dry, hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, sugar, cereals, chocolate etc.
•Always use the appliance on a secure, dry level surface.
