Smoke will develop, make sure that the room is ventilated. Switch off the cooking plates and allow to cool down completely. The cooking plates are now ready for use.

Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plates. The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plates.

Select the temperature. The cooking plates have a range of temperatures.

Due to the cooking plates’ construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This may be used to keep food warm for a short period.

After use, turn temperature dial to "MIN" and unplug the appliance from electrical outlet.
