•Remember that the cooking plate becomes extremely hot and it takes a while before the cooking plate is completely cooled off.

When using your cooking plate, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

•Read all instructions.

•Use only cooking plate for its intended use.

•To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cooking plate in water or any other liquids.

. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

•Do not allow cord to touch hot surface. Let appliance cool completely before cleaning.

•Do not operate cooking plate with a damaged cord or if the cooking plate has been dropped or damaged.

This is normal and will disappear after a couple of minutes. This is the only time the plates should be turned on without cooking.
