INTRODUCTION

To get the best out of your new kitchen machine, please read through these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of your kitchen machine.

SAFETY MEASURES

Normal use of the kitchen machine

Incorrect use of this kitchen machine may cause personal injury and damage to the machine.

Use the kitchen machine for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).

The kitchen machine may only be connected to 230 V, 50 Hz.

The kitchen machine or cord must not be submerged in water or any other liquid.

Do not operate with wet or damp hands. Make sure that no liquid gets into the machine.

Never leave the machine unattended when in use and keep an eye on children.

Keep hands and tools away from the whisks, dough hooks and blender blade while the machine is running.

Do not leave the blender running for longer than 1 minute at a time, and do not leave the whisks/dough hooks running for longer than 10 minutes at a time, as this could overheat the machine.

Do not use the kitchen machine if the mixing bowl or blender is empty.

This kitchen machine is not suitable for commercial or outdoor use.

Do not remove any tools until the machine has stopped completely.

Do not use the blender and the mixing bowl at the same time.

Positioning your kitchen machine

Always place the kitchen machine at the back of the kitchen counter.

Do not place the machine near hot areas, for example, gas rings and electric hotplates.

Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table/counter, and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.

Cord, plug and mains socket

Check regularly that the cord or plug is not damaged and do not use the machine if there is any damage, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way.

If the kitchen machine, cord or plug is damaged, it must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the appliance yourself.

Unplug the kitchen machine before changing accessories or cleaning, and when the machine is not in use.

Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.

Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over the kitchen machine cord or any extension cord.
