IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Whenusingelectricalappliances,basicsafetyprecautionsshouldalwaysbe followed,includingthe following:

2.Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handlesor knobs.

3.To protect againstelectrical shock,do not immerseGRIDDLEor cord in water or other liquid.

4.Close supervision is necessarywhen any applianceis used near children. This appliance should not be used by children.

5.Unplugfrom outlet when not in use and beforecleaning.Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and beforecleaning and folding the appliance.

6.Do not operate any appliance with a damagedcord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damagedin any manner. Return appliance to the manufacturer (see warranty)for examination, repair, or adjustment.

12.To disconnect, turn both controls to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet.

14.Be sure controls are turnedto the OFF positionand the Griddlehas cooled completely before folding. DO NOT TURN UNIT ON WHILE IT IS IN THE FOLDED POSITION.

15.DO NOT TURN ON WHILE THE COOKINGPLATESARE REMOVED.
