IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliances.

This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do not use for industrial purposes

Before using the appliance for the first time, make sure that the voltage found on the rating label corresponds to the voltage in your home.

To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or any other part of the unit in water or any other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when it is used near children.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILD USE.

Unplug the unit from the power supply when it is not in use and before cleaning the unit.

Do not touch the hot surface – This may cause injuries.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

Should repairs be needed, only use a qualified electrician. Bring appliance to a near service centre for repair, examination or mechanical adjustment.

Do not use attachments that are not supplied by the manufacturer.

Do not use the coffee maker if it has a damaged cord or plug.

Do not let the cord hang over the corner of the table or touch any hot surface

Only start the appliance when the detachable plate, filter holder and coffee tank and in their proper position.

Only operate the appliance when there is water in the water tank

In order to protect the product, this coffee machine is designed for over heating pro- tection and automatic stop.

In order to prevent it from being turned over, please use the coffee machine on a plane surface.

During first usage you may notice a slight smell, this is normal and will not affect your health. This smell will disappear after a couple of uses.

Do not rotate the steam tube or use the steam tube as a handle. Doing so may cause damage to the unit, leakage or other hazards.

Do not move the coffee machine while in use.

Pyrex glass is designed only for the coffee machine, do not use it on other heating devices.

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

In case of damage to the wire, it has to be replaced only by the manufacturer, distributor or by an expert, to avoid risks.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi- cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person respon- sible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
