CONCEALED HEATING ELEMENT
This unit has a boil/dry protection safety feature that automatically turns off the kettle when boiling is finished or when there is no water inside the kettle.
Care and Cleaning
CLEANING
1.Before cleaning, be sure the base is unplugged and the unit has cooled completely. Empty any remaining water from the kettle.
2. Pull out the removable filter for cleaning (F). Wash the filter in warm soapy water and rinse or place it in the utensil
holder of the dishwasher.
3. Wash the inside of the kettle with soapy water and rinse.

Important: Never immerse your kettle in water or other liquids or place in a dishwasher.
4. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and base with a damp cloth or sponge and dry.
Note: The concealed heating element at the bottom of the interior may discolor. This will not affect performance. Do not use abrasive soaps, cleansers, or scouring pads on any part of the unit.
