NOTE: When the Receiver is to be used in battery-operated accessories, such as the Xpress Boom Box (XMB10), to maximize battery life, it is suggested that the brightness setting be reduced to a minimal level.

Backlight Timer

The Backlight Timer feature allows the user to set the amount of time the display backlight is turned on, or the period before the display darkens, provided no other button has been pressed during the selected time-out interval; time increments of 10, 20, and 30 seconds are presented for selection at your discretion. This user-friendly option subdues the display during sleep hours or other particular periods.
