Also, where indicated that the siren will emit a long chirp tone, the optional horn may be connected instead of or along with the siren in which case either or both the horn and siren may sound.

If the system you have is a keyless entry unit and not an alarm, there may be no sounding device.

For units with a toggle switch instead of a pushbutton switch, where indicated to press and release the pushbutton, instead move the toggle switch on then off.
