CORD STORAGE

There is a handy cord storage area in the back of the Can Opener. Carefully push the cord up into the storage area. Then nest the plug into the cut- out area with the prongs facing upward. (Figure C)

USING THE KNIFE SHARPENER

(Models EC43 and EC43B only)

1.Turn the Can Opener sideways. The Slots in the Knife Sharpener are slanted at the correct angle for best sharpen- ing results.

2.Press and hold down the Pierce Lever before inserting a knife blade into either Slot. This will start the Grinding Wheel for sharpening. Continue to hold the Pierce Lever
