9. Preventive Maintenance
The toaster should be cleaned on a daily basis. Remove the cover. Remove the belts, wash them in solution of detergent and warm water, and dry them thoroughly. Use a basting brush or similar soft- bristled brush to whisk crumbs from the unit. Alternatively, a small vacuum may be used to remove crumbs from the unit.
