ULTRASTACK BG412V

Dear Customer,

welcome to the team of ULTRASTACK users, and thank you very much for expressing your confidence in BEHRINGER products by purchasing the ULTRASTACK BG412V. Even though hooking up and operating the BG412V is very easy, we would still like to provide you with a brief description of this excellent speaker cabinet and its features.

+The ULTRASTACK can produce extreme sound pressure levels. Please note that high SPLs do not only result in listening fatigue but can also permanently impair your hearing.

sPlease turn off the amp and disconnect it from the mains before connecting it to the speaker cabinet.

+Turn off the amp before changing the ULTRASTACK settings.

sSelect stereo or mono operation and set the switch accordingly:

Set the ULTRASTACK to MONO to drive it from a single power amp. In this case, the speaker cabinet’s impedance is 4 Ohms. Use the ULTRASTACK’s INPUT connector to connect the speaker cable.

If you have two amplifiers or a stereo power amp, you can operate the BG412V in two-channel mode by setting the ULTRASTACK to STEREO. Then, the speaker’s impedance is 2 x 8 Ohms. Connect the left channel of the power amp to LEFT, and the right channel to RIGHT.

sWhen connecting the BG412V to a tube power amp, please use the corresponding output(s) on your amp or set the impedance selector switch to the correct impedance after disconnecting the amp from the mains.

+Be sure to set amp impedance accordingly.

+Disconnect your amp from the mains before changing the impedance settings.

+Never use guitar or similar cables to operate the BG412V. Always use speaker cables with a minimum diameter of 2.5 mm (10 AWG).

+Never operate a tube amp without a load connected to it. If the impedance of the connected speaker cabinet fails to match the amplifier’s impedance, the amp could be damaged. Please refer to the operating instructions accompanying your amplifier.

The Behringer BG412V is a guitar cabinet designed to offer musicians a robust and versatile solution for amplifying their sound. Known for its affordability and performance, the BG412V is a popular choice among both beginners and seasoned professionals seeking a reliable speaker cabinet.

At the heart of the BG412V are its four 12-inch custom-designed speakers. These drivers are engineered to deliver a balanced frequency response that emphasizes both the low-end thump and the high-end clarity. This configuration allows the cabinet to produce powerful sound output suitable for various genres, from blues to heavy metal, making it a versatile companion for any guitarist.

One of the standout features of the BG412V is its handling capacity. It can handle up to 240 watts of power, which enables it to perform well in live settings and allows for pairing with a range of amplifiers. Musicians will appreciate the ability to push the cabinet without fear of distortion, making it ideal for those who enjoy playing at high volumes.

The cabinet itself is built with rigorous attention to durability, featuring a rugged plywood construction. This design not only enhances the cabinet’s longevity but also contributes to a lighter weight compared to traditional particleboard cabinets, making it easier to transport to gigs or rehearsals.

In terms of connectivity, the BG412V is equipped with a switchable input that provides both mono and stereo options. This flexibility allows users to adapt the cabinet to different rig setups, making it user-friendly for those who frequently change their equipment.

Furthermore, the cabinet is designed to minimize resonance and unwanted vibrations, thanks to its superior acoustic design. This ensures that the full tonal quality of the guitar signal is preserved, providing a more authentic sound that resonates well with listeners.

For musicians who are looking for a balanced, reliable, and powerful speaker cabinet, the Behringer BG412V is a great option. Its blend of solid construction, powerful output, and flexible connectivity makes it a desirable choice for a wide range of playing styles and environments.
