Air Grille
The airgrilleliftsoffeasily. Wipecleanor washin sinkwithmildhouseholddetergents. It may be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Filter
Turn offventilationsystembeforeremoving. Thefilter is a permanenttype andshouldbe cleanedwhensoiled. Clean
in sinkwithwarmwaterandliquiddishwashingdetergentor in the dishwasher.
Important: DO NOT OPERATE SYSTEM WITHOUT FIL- TER. Filtershouldalwaysbe placedat anangle. Asyouface the frontofthe cooktop,the bottomof the filter shouldrest on the ledgeonthe leftside. The top of thefiltershouldrest againstthe rightside.Thereare alsoledgesonthe frontand rearsidesforthefiltertorest.(Note: Iffilterisflatagainstthe fan wall, ventilationeffectivenessis reduced.)
Ventilation Chamber
Thisarea, whichhousesthefilter, shouldbe cleanedinthe eventof spillsor whenever it becomescoatedwitha filmofgrease. Itmaybecleanedwithpapertowel,dampcloth or sponge and mild householddetergent or cleanser. (Note: For easier cleaning, removethe basin pans.)
