Operating the Dishwasher

Before you begin

Using the Touch Pad Controls

Your new dishwasher is equipped with the latest control technology featuring Sens-a-Touch Controls activation.

In order to activate a button, open the door and place the entire fiingertip over the desired button and hold it in place for three seconds. This three-second hold is intended to prevent accidental activation.

Selecting a Language

Before using your new dishwasher you must select a language. Open the door far enough to expose the controls and press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on. The fiirst time you turn on the dishwasher, the language selection screen (see above) will appear.

The available languages are:

1.AE = American English

2.CF = Canadian French

3.MS = Mexican Spanish

The language abbreviation “AE” will be fllashing. If you want a different language press – or

+until the desired language fllashes. Save the selected language by pressing the

MENU/OK button. If you select the wrong language, refer to the “Display Language” section of this manual for more information.

Selecting a Wash Cycle

After adding detergent and rinse aid as explained in the Adding Detergent and Rinse Aid section of this manual, turn the dishwasher on by pressing the ON/OFF button. The display will indicate the default cycle, “Auto Wash”.

If you did not add rinse aid, the display will indicate “Refiill Rinse Aid.” To bypass this screen press the MENU/OK button.

To select a different cycle press + or – until the display shows the desired wash cycle.

ATTENTION

To avoid damage to delicate or heirloom items, do not wash them in your dishwasher.

Always make sure your dishware is dishwasher safe. Refer to the Dishware Materials section of this manual for guidance.

Wash Cycle Selections

Wash cycles accessible from this menu include:

Auto Plus

Cleans items having baked–on or hard dried-on food soils. These items may require soaking or hand scouring.

Auto Wash (default cycle)

Cleans large loads with loosely attached food soils.

Auto Delicate Wash

Cleans delicate or heirloom dishware and silverware, or other special items. Hand washing may be the best for such items.

Quick Wash

Cleans lightly soiled dishes and reduces overall wash time. Use this cycle to clean glasses and desert dishes that may need to be re-used at the same event.

Rinse and Hold

Allows you to rinse the food soil off of a partial load and hold them in the dishwasher until there is a full load.
