Switches the hi-fi system to standby mode and from standby mode to the last signal source selected.

Switches the hi-fi system on with the »CD« input source, selects the »CD« input source;

In MP3/WMA and CD-DA mode: starts and pauses CD playback.

In MP3/WMA and CD-DA mode: ends CD play- back pressing twice deletes the track memory for the CD.

In tuner mode: selects stored radio stations.

In MP3/WMA or CD-DA mode: pressing briefly selects files or tracks forwards or backwards; pres- sing and holding down searches forwards or backwards for a particular passage.

Selects the sound settings USER, CLASSIC, POP, JAZZ and ROCK;

adjusts the equaliser (BASS or TREBLE).

Switches the Ultra Bass System on and off.

Adjust the volume.

Switches on the hi-fi system with the input source »TUNER«, selects the input source »TUNER«; selects the waveband »FM« or »MW«.

In tuner mode: holding and pressing down starts the station search; briefly pressing changes the frequency forwards or backwards in steps. In MP3/WMA mode: selects albums forwards or backwards in steps.

In tuner mode: calls up the current station type (PTY); selects the station type (PTY) for PTY search.

Selects the colour of the display back light (8 colours).

Changes the brightness of the display to one of three levels (bright, medium, off).
