Switching on and off

1When the DVD is switched off, press »ON/OFF« to switch it to standby mode.

The standby indicator on the DVD receiver lights up red.

2Press »9« on the remote control to switch on the home cinema system from standby mode.

The standby indicator on the DVD receiver goes out.

DVD receiver display: briefly »WELCOME«.

The system switches on with the most recently selected input source.

3Press »9« on the remote control to switch the home cinema system to standby mode.

Display: briefly »GOOD-BYE«, the display on the DVD receiver goes out.

The standby indicator on the DVD receiver lights up red.

4Press »ON/OFF« on the DVD receiver to switch it off.

The standby indicator on the DVD receiver goes out.

Note:

You can switch on the home cinema system from standby mode to the appropriate input source using the »DVD«, »AM FM« or »AUX« buttons on the remote control.

Selecting the input source

1Select the input source (DVD, TUNER FM/AM, AUX) by press- ing »FUNCTION« on the DVD receiver or »DVD«, »AM FM« or »AUX« on the remote control.

Display on the DVD receiver: »DVD«, »TUNER FM«, »TUNER AM«, »VIDEO 1«, »VIDEO 2«, »SCART IN« or »DIGITAL IN«.

Preparing for disc playback

1Switch on the television and select the preset channel for the DVD receiver.

2Switch on the DVD receiver from standby by pressing »9« on the remote control or »ON/OFF« on the device.

3Select the DISC input source.

Display on the DVD receiver: briefly »DVD«, followed by »LOADING« and then »NO DISC«.
