Using

Normal use

1Wherever possible fill through the spout, as this helps to free the filter from limescale build-up.

The integrated water level indicator allows you to easily see the amount of water in the kettle.

Always ensure that the kettle is filled to at least the minimum water level mark.

Boil only as much water as you need as this saves electricity.

2Place the kettle on the base unit, ensuring the kettle locates on to the 360˚ connector.

The 360˚ connector allows the kettle to be located at any position. - ideal for left and right handed users and convenient positioning on worktop.

3Plug in and switch on at the wall socket.

4 Switch the kettle on. The ‘power on’ neon, will light up.

5 When the water boils the kettle will switch off automatically.

• Depending on the model variant you have purchased, the kettle will illuminate and/or 'whistle' to indicate it has boiled.

• If you are using the kettle for the first time, pour away the boiled water and refill.

6 Lift the kettle from the base unit by the handle ensuring you hold the kettle level.

• To re-boil, switch to ON again. If the kettle has just switched off wait a minute or so before switching it back on again.

• If you do not put in enough water, or switch on the kettle when it is empty, the safety cut-out will switch off the power automatically. If this happens, refill and wait a few minutes for the element to cool, then use as normal.

Keep warm function

1Fill the kettle and switch on as normal. The orange neon will illuminate inside the kettle.

2Press the keep warm switch to the on position I.

3The kettle will boil as normal. The keep warm feature will then keep the water in the kettle at near to boiling point. The green neon will illuminate inside the kettle.

4To reboil activate the on/off switch. The

kettle will reboil in a few seconds.

Please note: the keep warm function can be activated at any time in the boil cycle.

Switch off the keep warm function when the kettle is empty.

Filter removal

1Open the lid.

2Lift the filter upwards from its location using the tab provided.

3To refit the filter, slot it into the side wall guides and press down firmly. Ensure the filter is correctly located into the guide.

WARNING: If the filter is fitted

incorrectly, the auto switch off function may be affected.

Whistle feature

There is a switch on the cordless base of the product that can switch the whistle on and off as desired.
