ELECTRICITY PRECAUTIONS
•To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or other electric parts in water or other liquids.

•To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
•Always assure the toaster is OFF (all indicator lights off) and unplug the appliance from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.

•This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
•Do not use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits loosely or if the outlet or extension cord feels hot.
•Do not insert oversized foods, metal foil packages, metal utensils or any metal objects into toaster slots at any time.
•Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
•Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a shock hazard.
•To avoid circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit at the same time.
•Keep the cord away from hot parts of the appliance and hot surfaces during operation.
