DOOR LEVER

– Push to open the door.

WINDOW – To view the foods while cooking. No microwaves can pass through the metal shield in this window.

DOOR LATCH – These will slide into the interlock. If door is not completely closed, the oven will not operate.

SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM

Safety latches are in the microwave oven door. All ovens have at least two latches which stop the operation of the oven when the door is opened.

TURNTABLE – Composed of glass tray and roller guide. The roller guide is placed first in the bottom of the microwave and supports the glass tray. Both parts must be in place when using the microwave oven. The turntable will rotate whenever the oven is in use.
