Using the four wood screws provided, attach the brackets

 

to the mounting surface.

Slide the unit up and down or back and forth in the

 

mounting brackets until the face of the unit is at the

 

desired height. Tighten the screws that secure the bracket

Remove the unit from the underside of the surface.

Tighten the screws.

Replace the switcher on the underside of the surface

1Power LED — A green LED indicates that the distribution amplifier is receiving power.

2Video Gain sliding switch — Used for installations with long output cable runs, the 1.0 V (up) position gives a brighter picture. The default Video Gain setting is 0.7 V (down).

3Input Connector — Connect the input cable (using VGA-UXGA signals) to the DA’s 15-pin HD female connector.

4Local Monitor — Connect a local monitor to this 15-pin HD female connector for loop-through capability.

5Output Connector — Connect the output device to the 15-pin HD female connector.

Operation

After the distribution amplifier and its connected devices are powered up, the system is fully operational. If any problems occur, verify that the cables are properly routed and connected.

Signal input and output connections

All connections, including power, input, and output are located on the back of the rear panel of the P/2 DA4xi and P/2 DA6xi.
