Input cable lengths

Input cable lengths

The maximum input cable length is 250 feet (76 m) for a transmission rate of 165 MHz; a cable length of up to 200 feet (61 m) can be used for a transmission rate of 225 MHz. Longer cables may be used with a lower rate. High quality cable can increase the distance and rate of transmission. Other factors affecting the maximum transmission distance and frequency include the sensitivity of the input source and the display device.

NOTE:

Avoid using couplers and adapters between cables, as this can result in signal

degradation.

This table shows the maximum cable lengths recommended for each resolution.
