Filter operating hours counter ￿￿

The number of hours the cooker hood has been in operation is stored in memory.

The Grease filter symbol ￿ or the Charcoal filter symbol ￿ will light up to tell you that the filters need to cleaned or changed.

See "Cleaning and care" for further information about cleaning and changing the filters and resetting the operating hours counters.

Altering the grease filter operating hours counter ￿

You can set the operating hours counter for the grease filter to suit the type of cooking you do.

–Select a short time if you roast or fry a lot.

–If you use very little fat for cooking, select a longer time.

–If you only cook occasionally, we still recommend selecting a short time because grease which has built up gradually over a long period of time will harden on the filter and make cleaning more difficult.

The grease filter operating hours counter is set at the factory for

30 hours. This can be lengthened or shortened. You can choose 20, 30, 40 or 50 hours.

￿Switch the fan off by pressing the On/Off button ￿.

￿Press the Run-on option button 5 ￿15 and the operating hours button ￿￿ on the control panel on the cooker hood at the same time.

The Grease filter symbol ￿ of the operating hours button and one of the fan power levels will flash.

Fan power level indicator lights 1 to IS show the time set:

2. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 30 hours

￿Press the – symbol to select a shorter operating time or the + symbol to select a longer operating time.

￿Confirm your selection by pressing the operating hours button ￿￿.

All the indicator lights will go out.

If you do not confirm within 4 minutes, the cooker hood will automatically revert to the original setting.
