As part of Miele’s acclaimed lineup of kitchen appliances, this model reflects the brand's commitment to quality, innovation, and efficiency. It is engineered to cater to both amateur cooks and culinary enthusiasts, offering precise temperature control and rapid heating capabilities.

One of the standout features of the KM 408-1 is its induction cooking technology. This method utilizes magnetic fields to directly heat the cookware, ensuring that energy is used efficiently and the cooktop remains cool to the touch around the cooking area. This not only enhances safety but also simplifies cleaning, as spills are less likely to burn onto the surface.

The KM 408-1 boasts four cooking zones, each with varying diameters and power outputs. This versatility allows for a range of cookware sizes to be used simultaneously, accommodating everything from small saucepans to large frying pans. The cooktop’s intelligent heat management technology further optimizes cooking by providing instant heat adjustments, allowing for rapid boiling or gentle simmering with ease.

Another notable feature is the PowerBoost function, which temporarily increases the cooking power for a short duration. This is ideal for quickly bringing water to a boil or achieving a high-temperature sear on meats. Additionally, the integrated timer enhances convenience, enabling users to set specific cooking durations for each zone, ensuring precision and reducing the risk of overcooking.

Safety is a priority with the KM 408-1, which comes equipped with features such as an automatic shut-off and a child lock, providing peace of mind for families. The cooktop’s elegant design is complemented by intuitive touch controls, making it easy to operate while also adding a modern aesthetic to any kitchen.
