Use

At the end of a program

If the door has opened slightly, and the

message ￿ Finished or Drying Plus

appears in the display, this indicates that the program has finished.

￿Open the door completely to re-engage the door closing mechanism.

In the "Normal" program, the drying fan will run for a few minutes after the program is completed.

￿If you have deactivated the auto- matic door opening function (see "Settings - Drying Plus"), but would still like to open the door at the end of the program, then make sure that you open the door fully. Otherwise steam from the dishwasher could damage the edge of the counter top because the fan is no longer running.

￿Unload the dishwasher.

Dishes tend to break and chip more easily when they are hot.

Allow the dishes to cool until they are comfortable enough to handle before unloading them.

If you open the door fully after switching off, the dishes will cool much faster.

Unloading the lower basket first will prevent water drops from the upper basket and cutlery tray (depending on model) from dropping onto dishes in the lower basket.

￿Press the ￿ button to turn the dishwasher off.

The dishwasher continues to use electricity until turned off with the ￿ button.

Preparing your appliance for an extended vacation

If you elect to turn off the water to your home for an extended period of time, please note that this may not be enough to reduce the risk of a leak.

To be completely safe, you must turn off the water supply to each individual appliance. This means under the sink for a dishwasher, at the laundry bib for your washer, etc.

G5600, G5605 specifications

The Miele G5600 and G5605 are part of Miele's renowned line of built-in dishwashers, known for their exceptional performance, efficiency, and premium quality. Designed to cater to the needs of modern kitchens, these models blend advanced technology with user-friendly features.

One of the standout characteristics of the Miele G5600 and G5605 is their innovative three-level basket design. This feature allows for flexible loading options, accommodating various dish shapes and sizes. The upper basket can be adjusted to create additional space for taller items in the lower basket, making it incredibly versatile. With Miele’s unique Cutlery Tray, there’s even more room for kitchen utensils, ensuring that silverware is cleaned thoroughly and effectively.

Both models are equipped with Miele’s patented AutoSensor technology, which intelligently detects the level of soiling on the dishes and automatically adjusts the wash cycle accordingly. This not only ensures optimal cleaning results but also conserves water and energy, making these dishwashers incredibly eco-friendly. Additionally, with energy ratings that typically exceed industry standards, users can enjoy cleanliness without worrying about their environmental footprint.

The G5600 and G5605 feature multiple wash programs, including intensive, normal, and quick settings, ensuring that users have the flexibility to choose based on their specific needs. The QuickIntenseWash program, for example, allows users to get sparkling clean dishes in just 58 minutes without compromising on performance, thanks to a combination of higher temperatures and optimized wash phases.

Noise is another critical aspect, and Miele has designed these machines to operate at a whisper-quiet level, allowing for uninterrupted conversations in the kitchen or dining area. The EcoFeedback feature provides real-time information on energy and water consumption, empowering users to make informed decisions while using the appliance.

In terms of design, both dishwashers boast a sleek and modern aesthetic that seamlessly integrates into any kitchen decor. Their intuitive control panels ensure ease of use, while the interior boasts Miele's high-quality stainless steel construction, which not only looks great but is also durable and resistant to rust and stains.

In conclusion, the Miele G5600 and G5605 dishwashers set a high standard in the realm of kitchen appliances. With their advanced features, eco-friendly technologies, and elegant design, they are an investment that enhances the efficiency and convenience of everyday dishwashing tasks.
