Timer

The hob must be switched on to use the timer.

The timer can be used for two different functions:

-to set the minute minder

-to set a cooking zone to switch off automatically.

You can select a time from 1 minute (01) to 91/2 hours (9.^). If a time of more than 99 minutes (99) is set, the time is set in half-hour steps. The half hour is indicated by a dot after the number.

Use the - sensor to reduce the time from 9.^ to 00, and the + sensor to increase the time from 00 to 9.^. The display stops at 2h and at 99. To continue entering the setting, briefly remove your finger from the sensor, and then touch it again.

When the set time has elapsed, 00 will appear in the timer display for a few seconds. An audible tone will sound at the same time for a few seconds. To turn the audible tone off before this, touch the ￿ sensor.

Minute minder

To set the minute minder time

￿Touch the ￿ sensor.

00 and the minute minder indicator lamp will flash in the timer display.

￿Touch the - or + sensor until the time you require appears in the display, e.g. 15 minutes.

The time set will then count down in minutes. The time remaining will be shown in the timer display.

To change the minute minder time

￿Touch the ￿ sensor.

￿Touch the - or + sensor to set the time you want.

To delete the minute minder time

￿Touch the ￿ sensor.

￿Touch the - and + sensors at the same time.
