Use

Turning on the cooktop

^Touch the s On/Off cooktop touch control.

A horizontal bar - will appear in each of the burner displays and the On/Off indicator lights. If no setting is chosen within a few seconds the cooktop will turn itself off as a safety measure.

Turning on a burner

^Touch the s On/Off touch control for the desired burner.

^Select a power level between 1 and 12 by pressing the - or + sensor.

Starting the selection with - selects cooking with auto-heat. Starting the selection with + selects cooking without auto-heat.

Variable/Extended burner

When turning on a variable or extended burner the extension of the burner will automatically turn on to create a larger cooking area for pots and pans.

A short segment (see arrow) in the upper part of the lighting circle will indicate when the extension of the burner is in use.

Turning off the outer portion of the burner

^To turn the extension of the burner off, touch n.
