Cleaning the door panel

^Clean using a suitable cleaning agent for the type of material the front is made of.

Wood door front panels:

^Door fronts made from wood should only be cleaned using a damp cham- ois leather and then dried with a soft cloth.

Plastic panels:

^This type of panel should only be wiped with a damp cloth or suitable cleaning agent designed for use on plastic.

,Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, glass cleaning agents or all-purpose cleaners. Because of their chemical composition they could cause serious damage to plastic surfaces.

Stainless steel panels:

^Clean using a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid or with a propri- etary non-abrasive cleaning agent designed specifically for use on stainless steel. To help prevent re-soiling (finger prints etc.), a propri- etary conditioning agent for stainless steel can also be used. Apply spar- ingly with an even pressure following the direction of the grain.

,Do not use any cleaning agents containing ammonia or thinners. These would damage the surface structure.

E-Cloth:

A microfibre "E-Cloth" is available from the Miele UK Spare Parts Department, Part number 98013530, which is suit- able for cleaning surfaces such as stainless steel, glass, plastic and chrome without the use of chemicals.
