The screws are not needed for granite countertops.

￿Position and attach the spring clips ￿ and support bars ￿ with strong, double-sided tape ￿.

￿Coat the edges of the spring clips ￿,

￿and the space ￿ between the support bars ￿ and the countertop with silicone (supplied).
