INSTALLING THE WATER LINE

Connecting the water supply line to the refrigerator.

There are several items that you need to purchase to complete this connection. You may fi nd these items sold as a kit at your local hardware store.

Use Copper Tubing

Use Plastic Tubing

¼” copper tubing

¼” plastic tubing

¼” compression nut (1pc)

Molded end(Bulb)

Refrigerator

Ferrule (2pc)

¼” compression nut (1pc)

Compression Nut (1/4”)

01 SETTING UP

Compression nut (1/4”) (Not supplied)

Copper tubing or Plastic tubing

(Not supplied)

(Not supplied)

Household water supply line

1.Connect the household water line to the assembled compression fi tting.

-If you are using copper tubing, slip the compression nut (not supplied) and ferrule (not supplied) on copper tubing (not supplied) as shown.

-If you are using plastic tubing, insert the molded end(Bulb) of the plastic tubinginto the compression fi tting.

Do not use without the molded end(Bulb) of the plastic tubing.

CAUTION

2.Tighten the compression nut onto the compression fi tting. Do not over-tighten the compression nut .

3.Turn water on and check for any leakage.

Only connect the water line to a drinkable water source.

If you have to repair or disassemble the water line, cut off 1/4“ of the plastic tubing to make sure you get a snug, leak-free connection.

Installing the water filter.

After remove the right side upper shelf, you can install the water fi lter more easily.

1. Remove the water fi lter cover ( 1 )

2. Remove the fi xed cap ( 2 ) by turning it counter clockwise. Keep the cap in a safe place for later use if you don’t use the fi lter.

3. Remove the water fi lter ( 3 ) from the box and put a

replacement indicator sticker (Indicator sticker is included in

 

 

the box) on the fi lter as shown. Place the sticker on the fi lter

 

 

that dates six months in the future. For example, if you install

 

 

the water fi lter in March, put the “SEP” sticker on the fi lter

 

 

to remind you to replace it in September. This way, you can
