Sensor sensivity reset

Important:

Make sure no objects are on the sensors while the sensor sensitivity is being set.

ΦAfter initial connection and after a power failure the abbreviations “'%0” appear briefly in the LED displays. Rotating circles are then dis-

played. This means the sensors are being self-tested and the button sen- sitivity reset simultaneously.

Acknowledge this display by touching the Off-sensor.

Make sure no objects are lying on the sensors! These symbols are switched off immediately.

Otherwise, remove objects and briefly disconnect the cooking zone from the main power source.

Switch on a cooking zone (Stand-by-mode)

ΦBefore you start to use a cooking zone, put the cook top into the stand- by mode.

ΦWhen you turn the cooking surface on, you will hear a short buzzing noise as it heats. This is design-specific and does not affect the quality and

operation of the appliance.

Press the sensor-button for approx. 2 seconds.

The LED-display above the sen- sor lights up and the appliance is in operation (stand-by mode).

The stand-by mode automatically switches itself off,

if no cooking zone is activated within 20 seconds (after 10 seconds an acoustic signal will indicate that the appliance will switch itself off after an- other 10 seconds)

or

– if the appliance is not used 1 minute after starting operation.
