WARRANTY: Should your LG Refrigerator ("Product") fail due to a defect in materialor workmanship under normal home use during the warranty period set forth below, LG Canada will at its option repair or replace the Product upon receipt of proof of original retail purchase. This warranty is valid only to the original retail purchaser of the product and applies only to a Productdistributed in Canada by LG Canada or an authorized Canadian distributor thereof. The warranty only applies to Products located and used within Canada.

2.Failureof theproductto performduringpowerfailuresandinterruptionsor inadequateelectricalservice.

3.Damagecausedby leakyor brokenwater pipes,frozenwaterpipes,restricted drainlines,inadequateor interruptedwatersupplyor inadequatesupplyof air.

4.DamageresultingfromoperatingtheProductina corrosiveatmosphereor contraryto theinstructionsoutlinedinthe Productowner'smanual.

5.Damageto the Productcausedbyaccidents,pestsandvermin,lightning,wind, fire,floods,oractsof God.

6.Damageresultingfromthemisuse,abuse,improperinstallation,repair,or maintenanceofthe Product. Improperrepairincludesuse of partsnotapproved or specifiedby LGCanada.

7.Damageorproductfailurecausedbyunauthorizedmodificationoralteration,or use forotherthan itsintendedpurpose,orresultingfromany waterleakagedue to improperinstallation.

8.Damageor Productfailurecausedbyincorrectelectricalcurrent,voltage,or plumbingcodes,commercialorindustrialuse,oruse of accessories, components,orcleaningproductsthatare notapprovedby LGCanada.

9.Damagecausedbytransportationandhandling,includingscratches,dents, chips,and/orotherdamageto thefinishof yourproduct,unlesssuchdamage resultsfromdefectsinmaterialsorworkmanshipandis reportedwithinone(1) weekof delivery.

10.Damageormissingitemsto any display,openbox,discounted,or refurbished Product.

11.Productswithoriginalserialnumbersthathavebeenremoved,altered,or cannotbe readilydetermined.ModelandSerialnumbers,alongwithoriginal retailsalesreceipt,are requiredforwarrantyvalidation.

12.Increasesin utilitycostsandadditionalutilityexpenses.

13.Replacementof lightbulbs,filters,orany consumableparts.

14.Repairswhenyour Productis usedinotherthan normaland usualhousehold use (including,withoutlimitation,commercialuse,in officesor recreational facilities)or contraryto the instructionsoutlinedintheProductowner'smanual.

15.Costsassociatedwithremovalof theProductfromyourhomefor repairs.

16.The removaland reinstallationof theProductif it is installedinan inaccessible locationoris notinstalledinaccordancewithpublishedinstallationinstructions, includingthe Productowner'sandinstallationmanuals.

17.Shelves,doorbins,drawers,handles,andaccessoriestothe Product.Also excludedare partsbesidesthosethatwereoriginallyincludedwiththe Product.

All costs associated with the above excluded circumstances shall be borne by the consumer.
