Manual background When the ice making machine has never been used for a long time, take the water supply tank out and make it dry properly before returning it to the right position inside the refrigerator. Turning the automatic ice making machine off is recommended.

Manual background If the automatic ice making machine is still on while taking the water supply tank out, it is usual to hear water pumping sound sometime.

As seen in the figure below, press the central front part of the lid to lift it up.

(Do not open the lid by nails.) 'E !"#$%&'F

To close the lid, make sure that the grips at the back are still holding the lid, then close the lid down in the direction as shown below.

1Remove the case from the lid by turning it in the direction as shown below.

2While pressing the knob, remove the water filter from the bottom of the case.

3Wash the water filter with soft sponge.
