OVERVIEW

Receive wireless calls on either your Bluetooth mobile phone or your VoIP softphone with the Plantronics® Voyager 510-USB Bluetooth Headset System. Answer or end both Internet and mobile phone calls—even while you’re away from your desk—at the push of a button.

The ability to switch seamlessly between either phone makes the headset perfect for mobile professionals who carry a cell phone and a VoIP-enabled laptop and want an econom- ical, simple way to take calls on both. No more having to switch headsets!

Sleek and lightweight, the headset’s compact, foldable design makes it a great traveling accessory. Even better, it can also be charged directly from your computer’s USB port, eliminating the need for an AC adapter in your computer case.

The system’s plug-and-play Bluetooth USB adapter makes it easy to establish wireless communications between the headset and your softphone without any complicated software setup. Simple to use, you can place hands-free calls through any VoIP service with one easy step.

The included PerSonoCall software provides the link between your Bluetooth headset and the VoIP softphone application on your computer. Using this link, you can remotely detect and answer or end a call from your softphone application by pressing the headset’s call control button.

The software also provides configuration and status informa- tion about the Voyager 510-USB Bluetooth Headset System,

and can be set up to remind you to turn off the radio link in order to preserve headset standby and talk time.

Compatible with most consumer Internet telephony services, the Voyager 510-USB Bluetooth Headset works with enterprise softphone software from companies such as AVAYA, Cisco®, Nortel®, and Skype. Through them, you can set up call notification and remote call answering capabilities on the headset.

Place and receive calls up to 33 feet (10 m) from a Bluetooth device or softphone. What’s more, the headset supports Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) to keep it from interfering with any existing Wi-Fi®or wireless LAN communications in your application.

And, like many other Plantronics Bluetooth headsets, the Voyager 510-USB’s one-touch controls support call answer/end, last number redial, and voice-activated dialing when paired with mobile phones that have these services enabled.

For wearing flexibility, the headset includes three sizes of ear tips and features a swiveling boom for use on either ear. It charges automatically when placed in the included charging stand, or it can be charged using the included AC adapter.

In all, the headset supports up to 6 hours of talk time and roughly 100 hours of standby time without recharging.

NOTE: Voice-activated dialing must be supported by your phone service provider.

• Also comes with a USB headset charger,

a USB extension cable, an AC charger,

and a convenient carrying pouch.
