Using the lower oven
The lower oven ISalways set with two ~XI:
Both must be on a setting for the oven to ?eat.
Baking or roasting
1.Position the rack(s) properly before turning on the oven To change rack position, pull rack out to stop, raise front edge and lift out.
The rack(s) should be placed so the top of the food will be centered in the oven. Always leave at least 11,~to ;I inches
the sides of the pan and the oven walls and other pans. For more information, see the “Cooking Guide?”
2.Set Oven Selector to BAKE. The Lower Oven “ON” Indicator Lighi will come on.
3.Set Oven Temperature Control to the baking temperature you want. The Heating Indicator Light will ccme on. The oven is preheated when the Heating Indicator Light first goes off
