!CAUTION: Exercise caution when cleaning around the control panel area and the exterior indicator light on the front of the door. Do not use spray cleaners of any kind on these areas.

Cleaning the Interior Surfaces

¾The dishwashing compartment of your Dacor dishwasher is constructed of high quality stainless steel. It remains clean during normal use.

¾The control panel and the racks may be wiped clean, if necessary, with a soft damp rag.

¾Food particles on the silverware basket can be rinsed clean under a faucet with warm water.

Filters and Strainer Baskets

!CAUTION: Do not operate the dishwasher without the strainer and the two filters in place. The strainer and filter system is designed to keep large food particles out of the mechanical parts.

1.Remove the strainer by turning it counterclockwise and lifting it straight up (see page 21).

2.Remove the small particle filter by turning it counterclockwise and lifting it straight up.

3.Lift out the medium particle filter.

4.Clean the filters in the kitchen sink with a soft sponge and mild kitchen detergent under warm water.

5.Replace the filters. Tighten the small particle filter and the strainer snugly.

Cleaning the Exterior Surfaces

¾Clean exterior surfaces with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

¾You may also use Dacor Stainless Steel Cleaner (Part No. A-302) on stainless steel surfaces. Use it according to the directions on the package.
