obstruct air-flow over the cooling unit at the back. put hot food in the fridge - allow it to cool first. store bananas in the fridge or they will turn black. use a sharp instrument to hasten defrosting or to remove an ice tray as this could cause damage.

put bottles or cans of fizzy drinks in the frozen food compartment as they may burst when freezing.

give children iced lollies straight from the frozen food department; they could cause frost burns.
