WHEN YOU

NEED SERVICE OR ASSISTANCE

Follow These Steps

1.If your disposer should fail to operate, review the following list before calling your dealer. You could save the cost of a service call.

Turn wall switch to OFF position and manually use the Jam Breaker Wrench to turn the grind wheel, making sure it is free to rotate. NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE DISPOSER. If the grind wheel does not turn freely, the disposer is probably jammed and you should follow the procedures outlined on page 5.

JAMS OF ANY NATURE ARE NOT CONSIDERED A PRODUCT DEFICIENCY AND ARE NOT COVERED BY IN-WARRANTY SERVICE OR LABOR.

Has a fuse blown: or is the circuit breaker open?

Is the switch controlling the disposer turned to the ON position?

Is the red Reset Button on the bottom of the disposer pushed in?

2.If the problem is not due to one of the above items, call the Whirlpool Consumer Assistance Center: 1-800-253-l 301.

3.If you are not satisfied with the action taken, contact the Major Appliance Consumer Action Program (MACAP). MACAP is a group of independent con- sumer experts that voices consumer views at the highest levels of the major appliance industry. Contact them only when the dealer, authorized servicing outlet and Whirlpool Corp. have failed to resolve your problem.

Whirlpool, a renowned name in home appliances, has introduced a series of advanced garbage disposals: the GCI 000, GC3000, GC2000, and GC4000. Each model brings unique features and technologies aimed at enhancing kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.

The Whirlpool GCI 000 is an entry-level model designed for everyday use. It boasts a compact design, making it suitable for smaller kitchens. One of its standout features is the continuous feed operation, allowing for quick food waste disposal while cooking. The GCI 000 is equipped with a powerful 0.5 HP motor, providing sufficient grinding power for most household waste, including soft fruits and vegetables. Its stainless steel grind remains durable, resisting rust and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting use.

The GC3000, a step up from the GCI 000, features a more robust 0.75 HP motor for handling tougher food waste. This model introduces a SoundSeal technology, minimizing operational noise, which is a significant advantage for those who prefer quieter kitchen environments. With its multi-grind technology, the GC3000 can efficiently grind fibrous materials like celery and corn husks, making it a versatile option for any household. The easy installation process further streamlines setup, ensuring convenience for users.

Moving to the GC2000, this model focuses on efficiency and advanced grinding technology. With a 0.5 HP motor, it ensures steady performance and reliability. The GC2000 features an anti-jamming system that automatically reverses the grinding direction when clogs occur, reducing downtime in the kitchen. Its space-saving design fits seamlessly beneath sinks, and its rust-resistant components guarantee a longer lifespan. This model is perfect for those looking for a balance between compactness and functionality.

Lastly, the Whirlpool GC4000 represents the pinnacle of the lineup, equipped with a powerful 1 HP motor, ideal for households that generate more food waste. It offers a three-stage grinding system, providing ultra-fine disposal of food remnants. The Noise Reduction technology ensures that even at maximum power, the unit operates quietly, making it perfect for family homes. The GC4000 also features a jam sensor that detects blockages and helps prevent overload, ensuring optimal performance.

In summary, Whirlpool's GCI 000, GC3000, GC2000, and GC4000 models cater to different needs, from basic to advanced functionalities. With their emphasis on power, efficiency, and user-friendly features, these garbage disposals represent Whirlpool's commitment to innovative home solutions.
