Configuring the amplifier

An 8-position DIP switch on the rear panel allows you to configure certain amplifier characteristics. A diagram on the rear panel shows the individual switch functions and settings.

POSITIONS 1 AND 2: PARALLEL

INPUTS

These two positions are for connecting the inputs in parallel; setting them to “ON” ties Channel 1’s + input to Channel 2’s + input, and Channel 1’s - input to Channel 2’s.

If the mode switch—located below the “combo” input connectors—is set to STEREO, both channels will be driven with the same signal from Channel 1’s input. You can then use Channel 2’s input connector with another cable to daisy-chain the signal to one or more amplifiers.

If the mode switch is set to BRIDGE MONO, Channels 2’s signal is derived internally from Channel 1, so the parallel inputs allow you only to daisy-chain the signal to other amplifiers.

Un bloc de 8 commutateurs sur le panneau arrière permet d'activer certaines caractéristiques de votre amplificateur. Un tableau sur le panneau arrière décrit les fonctions des différents commutateurs.

COMMUTATEURS 1 ET 2:

ENTRÉES PARALLÈLES

Ces deux commutateurs permettent le raccord des deux entrées en parallèle; en sélectionnant la position "ON", on relie le + du canal 1 avec le + du canal 2, le - du canal 1 avec le - du canal 2.

Si le commutateur de mode situé sous les connecteurs d'entrée "Combo" est en positio STEREO, les deux canaux recevront le signal arrivant sur la prise du canal 1. Le connecteur d'entrée du canal 2 pourra être utilisé comme sortie pour amener le signal vers un autre amplificateur.

Si le commutateur est en position BRIDGE MONO, le signal alimentant le canal 2 est dérivé du canal 1 à l'interne, les entrées parallèles servent à établir une chaîne d'amplificateur à amplificateur.

Diese zwei Positionen sind für den Parallel-Betriebsmodus bestimmt. Stellung auf „ON” schaltet beide Kanaleingänge parallel, d.h. verbindet den Eingang des Kanal eins mit Kanal zwei.

Wenn der Betriebsartenschalter unterhalb der „Combo”- Eingangsteckverbinder auf „STEREO” steht, Ausgang für weitere „Slave”-Verstärker benutzen.

In Stellung „BRIDGE MONO” wird das Signal von Kanal zwei intern von Kanal 1 abgegriffen.

POSICIONES 1 Y 2: ENTRADAS

PARALELAS

Estas dos posiciones permiten conectar las entradas en paralelo; colocando ambas en "ON" enviamos la entrada + del canal 1 a la entrada

+del canal 2 y la entrada - del canal 1 a la entrada - del canal 2.

Si el conmutador localizado bajo los conectores de entrada del cable pelado se coloca en posición "STEREO", ambos canales serán gobernados por la misma señal procedente de la entrada del canal

1.Podemos emplear entonces el conector de entrada del canal 2 con otro cable para enviar la señal de entrada procedente del canal 1

hacia uno o más amplificadores. Si el conmutador se coloca en posición "BRIDGE MONO", la señal del canal 2 es interamente derivada desde el canal 1 (uso en modo puente), las entradas en paralelo permitirán entonces enviar la señal hacia otros amplificadores.
