Your new dishwasher is designed to give you many years of dependable service. There are a few things you can do to maintain your dishwasher properly. This section tells you how to clean and care for your dishwasher. Refer to “Solution chart” on pages 21-23 for special cleaning problems. Burn Hazard

Before cleaning interior wait at least twenty minutes after a cycle for the heating element to cool down.

Failure to do so can result in burns.

Hard water minerals may cause a white film to build up on the inside surfaces, especially just beneath the door area. To clean interior: l Apply powdered dishwasher detergent to a

damp sponge to make a paste.
